The General Election on Thursday 4 July 2024 will see all 650 Westminster seats across the UK contested and it is vital that we use this crucial opportunity to ensure the voice of counselling and psychotherapy is heard loud and clear by the next cohort of MPs.

We've developed a simple template which sends an email to all prospective parliamentary candidates in your constituency.

We've included our key policy asks within the template, which highlight what we want the next Government to commit to in relation to counselling, psychotherapy and the nation's mental health.

Together we can send every new and returning MP back to Parliament with the clear message that mental health matters.

We collect your postcode to ensure you are contacting the correct candidates for your constituency, we collect your name so candidates know that you are a genuine constituent. We collect your email address and use it in conjunction with your location details to prevent multiple contacts through the campaign. Personal data is kept for the duration of the campaign and will be deleted once the Election has concluded. Please note that we may use non-identifiable statistical data after the campaign has ended (e.g. the number of people who used the tool by geographical area). By ticking this box you are indicating that you have read and understood how your data will be used.

The names and contact information of Candidates in your constituency is provided by Democracy Club and the Engaging Networks campaign platform. Please be aware that the deadline for registering as a Candidate in the 2024 General Election is 4pm on the 7 June and that until sufficient time has passed for both organisations to update the database with verified contact information there may be gaps in the information available.
